GPHRF organized the Public Health Training Camp 2019 during February 19-March 3, 2019. This 2nd training camp involved three consecutive workshops: (a) Introduction to Stata, (b) Infectious Disease Modeling, Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis, and (c) Epidemiology and Public Health.

Professor Stuart Gilmour (St. Luke’s International University, Tokyo, Japan), Professor Shahjahan Khan (University of Southern Queensland, Australia), Associate Professor Jinghua Li (Sun Yat-sen University, China), Assistant Professor Md. Mizanur Rahman (The University of Tokyo, Japan), Professor Md. Kamrujjman (University of Dhaka, Bangladesh), Professor Papia Sultana (University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh), Dr. Shamima Akter (National Center for Global Health and Medicine, Japan), and Md. Shafiur Rahman (The University of Tokyo, Japan) facilitated the training camp. Participants were mostly public health researchers, physicians, and government employees. This training camp covered both theory and application of the selected topics with a mixture of lectures and practical sessions, including ‘hands-on’ training to explore and analyze public health data using Stata software.

We would like to thank everyone for the successful completion of the Public Health Training Camp 2019.
